Anna Meissner
Founder
Social entrepreneur from the Czech Republic, Anna has focused her career on education. After completing her law degree, she founded Cherry Tree, a forest school-inspired innovative international preschool in Prague.
Attending to one of her biggest passions, Anna recentaly earned her master's degree in Jewish education at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Melton Centre.
In 2024 Anna founded Shalem, supporting Jewish and Israeli causes, bringing together philanthropic ventures she has been pursuing for more than a decade, both operationally and financially.
Ory Weihs
Founder
Israeli living in Prague, Ory is an experienced founder turned investor. He is the founder of XLMedia PLC, early investor in companies such as Mews, Medorion, Malcom, Legly, Scaut, Bridgify, InlandOcean, CzechFounders.vc and more.
Ory uses his years of experience in business development, marketing, and finance to expand the fund’s reach and to pursue new initiatives to support. He believes Israel is the eternal home of the Jewish people and their trusted allies and strives for it to continue being a leader in innovation & human rights in the Middle East.
The founders are personally committed to the fund’s operation, take no management and/or operational fees, and practice maximum transparency and accountability towards Shalem's donors.
Partnering with local initiatives and volunteers, we personally oversee and monitor the use of funds. Donors receive regular and live updates from the field.
The founders have committed to matching up to EUR 10.000/month, increasing the fund's impact.

Established in 2009, the Druze Veterans Association was founded to support education, advancement, and professional development of veteran Druze soldiers.
Ha'bait Le'chayalim Bodedim (Home for Lone Soldiers). Our Haifa based partner organization helps us monitor the real needs of the IDF soldiers and provide them with necessary equipment.
Through hospital visits and financial support, we embrace the families of those injured during their military service and help them return back to life.
