Dear friends,
I’d like to update you about recent developments. With your generous help, we were able to collect 10.000 EUR dedicated to our wounded heroes. This money will be donated to families that struggle financially due to prolonged rehabilitation process of the fathers of the most vulnerable families. Each of the 41 families chosen by Rabbi Klein will receive a 1.000 NIS (240 EUR) prepaid card. We’ve already visited 30 families that received the following message with the financial gift before Pesach.

The preparations for teenage IDF orphans camp in Czechia are undergoing. In May, we will welcome a group of children who will come for a week of discovering Prague, hiking in the mountains, experiencing Shabbat together and taking part in intensive group therapy sessions facilitated by the IDFWO. The children will be in between high school graduation and beginning of their mandatory army service and we cannot wait to make their Prague stay most fun and memorable. Thanks to your generous donations, Shalem will cover the cost of the entire trip (excluding flights donated by El-Al).
We’re getting ready for our May poker adventure that will take place on 21st in Israel. Thanks to our partners, we expect that we will be able to collect more than 60.000$. B”H.
