A small update from us regarding our recent activities.
Thanks to your generous donations, Shalem was able to contribute recently to the following initiatives:
5.000 EUR (125.000 CZK) to our Druze friends at the DTec associated with the IDF Veteran Druze Association
This donation is crucial for the DTec centre to continue its operation, helping Druze IDF veterans to pursue their academic, educational and professional goals, supporting their empowerment within the Israeli society following their meaningful contribution to Israel’s security and peace.
5.000 EUR (125.000 CZK) for the Yahalom Foundation so they can continue supporting their reservists, veterans, and their families. The Yahalom Foundation is a crucial instrument in the wellbeing of the brave members of this special unit, focusing on mental health and aid to their injured heroes and bereaved families.
And finally,
12.000 EUR (300.000 CZK) to injured soldiers in recovery and to their families. Together with our miracle worker, Rabbi Klain, we are honored to continue supporting our injured heroes undergoing long recoveries. With Rabbi’s help, we’ve handpicked 37 families whose fathers are unable to return to work due to their severe injuries. Thanks to your generous contributions, we ensure they know they’re not forgotten and can celebrate Hanukkah in dignity. Each of the families receives a prepaid cash card. Attached is the letter from us, which all the families receive alongside the financial gift.
