Intensive therapeutical programmes in Prague

Dear friends,
It is our honour to support another remarkable initiative with your kind help. JCC headed by Yariv Ronen and Kobi Weitz founded a project with the aim to provide intensive therapeutical care for people affected by the horrors of October 7th.

In total, 45 Israeli couples will visit Prague within two years for a programme tailored by JCC in cooperation with Tel Aviv University's National Center for Post Trauma and Resilience headed by Ofir Levy and professionally overseen by Linda Arbeli on the Czech side. Thanks to this project, the participating couples receive intensive therapy and can finally take a long-awaited break.

The project's estimated cost is 60,000 EUR and Shalem has committed to participate with 10,000 EUR thanks to your generous support.

Attached is a picture from a dinner organised upon the arrival of the second group of couples. Among them were those who survived Hamas' captivity and parents who are awaiting the return of body of their son who was murdered on October 7th.

Encounters with their reality remind us of the fact that for many, October 7th has not ended in Israel, and it is our task to do everything in our power to help those who need it the most.

Thank you for being with us,

Am Israel Chai,
Anna&Ory
