Mental Help Update

Recently, we initiated a new project alongside Míša Kozinová to offer mental support as well as business coaching free of charge to those affected by the ongoing situation in Israel. This includes soldiers' family members, and reservists facing challenging professional situations, domestic issues, and more.

Míša is an experienced business coach, mentor, and mental health specialist. She has generously volunteered her time to work with people in dire need of help.

In the upcoming period, we intend to focus on mental health and the long-term effects of the ongoing war on Israeli society. Statistics show that the current infrastructure cannot sustain the growing demand for services.

Recent research published in November 2023 (Hebrew) by the Enosh Foundation states that 5.8% of public health spending in Israel goes to Mental health compared to 11% in OECD nations.

Today, Health Ministry Director General, Moshe Bar Siman Tov, announced that his office will double its mental health subsidies in 2025. He also mentioned the main goal is “less hospitalizations and more mental health community services.” This will require assistance from the private sector alongside robust state funding.

We are humbled by Míša's selfless commitment and honored to support Homiyah and Enosh
