Dear friends,
We’d like to share with you another glimpse of last week’s mission to Israel.
Together with Leizer, Dave and Ory went down to the Southern border with Gaza to visit soldiers of various units and bases. Equipped with London-made South African biltong (dried meat snack from David) and tons of baked goodies provided by Leizer, we went not only to express our solidarity and moral support but to directly engage with the soldiers and their supply managers to understand what their needs are and what life saving and strategic equipment they are missing.

Throughout the day, we met hundreds of soldiers stationed in the South, some waiting for their Gaza mission, some returning. We met an incredibly diverse body of those who in unity serve Israel. We met with Israelis who are of American, French, secular, African, religious, and Arab, brave men, and women who serve with one goal: To restore peace in Israel.

We would like to remind you that the travel or accommodation expenses are incurred by Shalem. Your generous donations go directly to those in need, the soldiers and their families.
Your support is appreciated and not taken for granted.
Am Israel Chai,
Anna & Ory
