We believe that proper support for Israel's sustainability extends beyond the current conflict, it includes honoring and uplifting those who have already sacrificed for the nation.
Recently, with the support of our generous donors, we had the privilege of donating $ 13,000 to a cause that is both humbling and inspiring, Sagi Dovev's resilience training program for wounded Israeli soldiers.

Who is Sagi, and what does he do?
Major (Reserve) Sagi Dovev is the former head of close combat training for IDF special forces who, after witnessing the horrors of October 7th, dedicates his life to supporting recovering heroes.
Through a combination of mental resilience training, physical rehabilitation, and emotional empowerment, Sagi’s program helps wounded veterans and enlisted soldiers reclaim control of their lives and rediscover their strength, both physically and spiritually.

His holistic approach doesn’t just focus on healing the body. It’s about restoring dignity, purpose, and self-worth to those who have paid the highest price in the service of their homeland.
Our experience
Throughout the last year and a half, we have visited the Sheba Hospital multiple times, unsurprisingly meeting Sagi with one or many of his "clients", training, talking, smiling, and always projecting incredible energy and sending a message of resilience. There are multiple examples of individuals who, with Sagi's guidance and the care of Sheba medical staff, have achieved astonishing recovery goals, such as the story of Michelle.

When they are not training, Sagi coaches, speaks, cares, and engages with the soldiers, giving them and their families a crucial warm embrace and a bright light to aim towards - slow but consistent improvement with clear targets.
We are privileged to play a small part in this and intend to extend our cooperation with Sagi in the future.
