Please meet Sabrina Belhassen Nimtzovich, a remarkable woman and the engine behind the Yahalom Foundation. This organization focuses on maintaining mental health of the members of this special unit which, especially in this war, proved to be irreplaceable in the fights and destruction of the terror tunnels.
A journalist and PR strategist, Sabrina completely abandoned her business life after October 7th and immersed herself into helping Israel in these dire times.
As a mother of three combat soldiers herself, she has experienced her fair share of sleepless nights in the past 18 months.
On the top of that, being a French citizen, she has tirelessly and successfully fought for the release of the Calderon family from Gaza captivity https://www.timesofisrael.com/they-burn-our-souls-mother-of-two-hostages-returns-to-nir-oz-for-first-time/amp/ and arranged for Hadas Calderon’s testimony to be published as a book.
Having her youngest boy in the Yahalom unit, Sabrina has taken upon the opportunity to become the head of the unit’s PR, fundraising and ultimately, our contact person in the organization.
With your generous help, we have supported the Yahalom Foundation with 15.000 EUR in the past year and we vow to continue. We’re planning to fund a retreat for soldiers with PTSD in Czechia.
